Extracting and publishing data from texts using XSLT

XSLTs created by SAWS

The following XSLT can be used to transform SAWS TEI files, to extract and generate various types of RDF/XML data from the TEI:

• XSLT for adding CTS ids to elements in SAWS TEI files
• XSLT for extracting RDF/XML from SAWS TEI files (with RDF encoded as relation elements)
• XSLT to convert TEI placeName annotations to Pelagios-compliant RDF/XML

The RDF data extracted from the texts is published within a Sesame triple-store, which can be inspected using the endpoint at /media/data/snorql. In the SAWS Dynamic Library, you can read about how to explore and visualise this data.
